Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Formal attire. The ceremony and reception are outdoors and on grass, so low heels or wedges are a good idea. Evenings can be cool in March, so bring a wrap or jacket.
Can I bring a plus-one or my kids?
Our invitations note exactly who is invited. If you're not sure whether that includes a plus-one or your children, just ask us directly and we're happy to clarify.
What language will the ceremony be in?
The ceremony will be bilingual, in English and Spanish, so everyone can follow along.
Where should out-of-town guests stay?
Most guests are staying in central Madrid and taking the shuttle out to the venue. See the Madrid Guide page for a few neighborhood recommendations. We'll also share a small list of nearby hotels closer to Torrelodones for anyone who'd rather stay close to the venue.
What's the weather like in Madrid in March?
Expect mild days and cool evenings, typically 8–16°C (46–61°F). Layers are your friend, and there's a small chance of rain.
Is there a gift registry?
Your presence is truly the gift. If you'd like to contribute to our honeymoon fund, details will be on your invitation.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
If you're driving yourself, please arrive by 3:30 PM for the 4:00 PM ceremony. If you're taking the shuttle, just be at the pickup point on time and we'll take care of the rest.
Who should I contact with questions?
Reach out to us directly, or to our wedding coordinator whose contact details are on your welcome card and on the Transportation page.
