Getting there and back
Transportation
Finca el Gasco is about 20–30 minutes from central Madrid, without heavy traffic
§How do I get to the church?
The ceremony is in central Madrid, so the easiest way there is an Uber or Cabify — both operate reliably in the city. There is no shuttle to the church itself, only onward from it to the venue.
§Where do the shuttles leave from?
Shuttles leave from the church parking lot right after the ceremony, heading to Finca el Gasco. Look for a host holding a sign with our names.
§What time is pickup?
Buses leave promptly at 2:30 PM, arriving at the venue in time for the 4:00 PM ceremony. Please arrive at the pickup point by 2:15 PM.
§What time do buses return?
There will be two return departures from the venue: 12:30 AM for those turning in early, and 1:30 AM after the last dance. Both return to the same Plaza de EspaƱa pickup point.
§Will there be more than one bus?
Yes — we'll run as many coaches as needed based on RSVPs, so there's room for everyone who signs up. If demand is high we'll add a departure time.
§Do I need to RSVP for the shuttle?
Yes, please. Let us know on the RSVP page whether you need a ride to the venue, back to Madrid, or both, so we can book the right number of seats.
§What if I miss the bus?
Not to worry — just grab an Uber or Cabify to Finca el Gasco. Both operate in the area, though it's worth requesting a ride sooner rather than later since availability drops the farther you get from central Madrid.
§Are taxis or rideshares an option?
Uber and Cabify both operate in Torrelodones, but availability drops late at night this far outside the city. A one-way trip typically runs about €35–45. If you'd rather not rely on the shuttle, we recommend booking a return car in advance rather than hailing one at the venue.
